French Chef Christian Vautier’s selection of chocolates is the ultimate expression of his experience and craftsmanship. His collection combines the finest chocolate grands crus from Madagascar, Central & South America, and Africa with a precise dosage of fruits, aromas or spices. Chef Vautier is a flavor creator, like a perfumer that creates a smell by blending front and back notes. Chocolate making requires more than just our sense of smell, but also sound, taste, touch and sight. Each chocolate ganache or praliné has a unique flavor and characteristic, telling a story and evoking a memory.
Mr Vautier has been the Executive Pastry Chef of Paris’ Grand Hôtel Intercontinental and Café de la Paix for ten years. His long list of accomplishments also include Potel & Chabot, De Bailleul delicatessens in France and abroad.
Christian Vautier is the creator of Les Chocolatiers family-run business with 4 stores in the greater Paris district (Sèvres, Chaville, Saint-Cloud, Montrouge). He also regularly teaches French techniques to chocolate makers in their development and creations at the international.
